Matt in WEEZER was great...no question...but with THE RENTALS he was awesome...and SOLO I would LOVE TO SEE HIM AGAIN...ALÖX...see you at a MATT SHARP concert...

matt is genius at all, i dont care where or with WHO he plays, the main thing is that he is still makin music and will be for a long time, i hope Wink

although i prefer matt in the rentals..he was so powerful.. these were one of the best years eva !

Rentals, then weezer.

Notice that as soon as Matt left, Weezer starts to write really crappy song. The three last weezer albums have been garbage. Weezer became less rocking and more passive songwriting wise.

Matt as solo naw, matt not much of a singer. He is at best with a group of  good musicians.

I’m still waiting for a long after Rentals Reunion. I miss Maya on vocals and moog.
