Hey,
I'm new here, so excuse me if I post in the wrong forum or do any other thing wrong.

Here's my question: Is the rentals side project of Matt Sharp still active, will there be another CD?

No they're not active at the moment. But Matt has never ruled out the posibility of them making a come back. You should check out Matt's solo record.  
Also, I wouldn't call The Rentals' a side project anymore. Maybe during Return of the Rentals, but after 1998, Matt focused on The Rentals full time.

I'm listening to Weezer and the Rentals, so I always though it was still a side project. I may buy the solo Album soon, I hope it's good  Cheesy

It was a side project when he was still in Weezer, but when he was without weezer (he was only on the first 2 weezer CD's) it became full time for him until 99.
