Has anyone else downloaded the EP from eMusic? It's got the Return of the Rentals vibe to it, minus the crunchy guitars. I miss the guitars.

I preorder-d it through the site, but
I was kinda pissed to see it offered when they came 'round here in Reno at the Merch table.

I got it. Sounds purty.
Anyone else feel like, The Return of the Rentals was like the grind of the work week, just getting it done, not too excited, Seven More Minutes was Friday or Saturday night when you got totally trashed, the solo album is like the morning after and Last Little Life is like Monday morning, when you're feeling good after the awesome weekend? Yeah.

I caught Saturdays show. I figured if I liked the new songs I would buy the EP at the merch table. They rocked and had a great live vibe. It was a better show then the Fonda. It had a very ROTR sound to it. I remember Matt trying to redo the songs too much the first time around at the Fonda. I even liked the live 7mm songs this time. The vocal mix could have been better, less Matt, more Rachel and Sarah. We got screwed with no encore. I'm going to the last show too. I picked up the EP and a shirt. It's good, but I'd prefer a "rougher" live EP. If I had an ipod, I'd hunt down a bootleg of the show.

That was really odd. However, someone made a really funny comment: How the hell did one of my all time fave bands /songs / music vids end up associated with weed? - Is "friends of P" code for some really powerfull, extra sticky strain of Kush? - Ooo Woo Hoo Hoo indeed!
