In it's hay day, I would have heard about this a long freakin time ago

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JtBRWbX3cME&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JtBRWbX3cME&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

actually there doesn't seem to be a mention of the tribute album anywhere on the rentals website.

they're slackin'

But I know we all can't stay here forever,
so I want to write my words on the face of today.
and then they'll paint it

It hasn't been about very long, makes me wonder what Kyle is up to he would normally tell us about these things.
But the album seems pretty good by the little previews you can listen to on Amazon.com
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0015ZJVTA/ref=dm_sp_alb
I'm definitively getting this.

Wow, it's been a while since i posted...
I remember hearing something about this a long time ago, although I can't remember who exactly was attached to it. I think Motion City Soundtrack and Ozma were, and I'm disappointed to see they're not on here. Oh well, still sounds pretty good.
And in related news, while searching the interweb for info on a hard copy of this, I did come across this article/video.

Enjoy!

yeah, it would have been a lot better if those other bands were included. But, it's like an oasis in the desert of Rentals news

It has only 7 tracks.  That's odd.  Maybe the label rushed it out?

Hi,
I tried to buy it on Amazon, but no luck, I am not on USA ground, so they cannot sell it to me.
"We are sorry...
We could not process your order. The sale of MP3 Downloads is currently available only to US customers located in the 48 contiguous states, Alaska, Hawaii, and the District of Columbia.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you."

Amazon MP3 is only available on amazon.com (USA), amazon.co.uk and amazon.de, and each is limited to the country.
The MP3 service should be avaible in France soon (amazon.fr) (it was supposed to be released in 2008, but delayed many times).
Nothing available in Spain (amazon.es does not even exist).

So it's going to be hard for me to put my hand on this.
Regards

Hi,
The Amazon MP3 service is finally available in France.
But no Rentals tribute so far.
(all Matt Sharp discography is available for cheap, but there is just one Rentals title available (Friends Of P.) from a compilation)
Let's see if they offer more titles soon.

Hi,
Thanks for the advices.
Unfortunately, I am a Linux user and there is no support for iTunes under this operating system.
(Amazon provides some Linux support for their mp3 platform)

Hi,
I finally managed to buy the tribute digital album in Europe (and in lossless quality (WAV)) (for 11 euros).
Here is the URL if anyone is interested:
