Would love this.

Everything with Matt/The Rentals is kinda covered (not in much detail) in Rivers Edge: The Weezer Story, up untilhe goes in to hiding in Texas.

Would love to hear more about this, and the mystery girl he met and fell in love with in Barcelona in the 90's....
