This is the greatest day ever...I hope Matt asks me to join...I'm 20, I've been playing guitar for 8 years and I can rock the moog with ease.
I never thought this day would come... DISCUSS!!!!!!!

i personally encourage growth, i encourage a helpful dosage of pop (it doesnt need to be sugar), i encourage jumping around, heads in the sun, i encourage high volumes, i encourage soft voices, i encourage art, i encourage use of the new moog synth (the voyager), i encourage fun, and I encourage a new sweet assssss line up
I encourage the rustling of some major feathers on behalf of matt.

what to get a new synth, and then what he breaks them up, and back to his solo career. thats a funny thought.

What's everyone's predictions? since the album wont be written overseas, we're in store for a major change in sound. Not only that, but if the album is written before a label is decided upon, then it further heightens the chances for true artistic freedom.
I hope there's a good label behind this...in music we trust is a good candidate im sure.

I want to see this album released on a major label. The Rentals are catchy enough and popular music is at a state, that I think they could be really popular.

I am so damn excited. I busted out Return and 7MM today for the first time in god knows how long. I forgot how amazing those albums are-I cannot wait to hear their new sound. I've gone from skepticism to complete elation. I also think that the new Rentals could be huge, as the new wave sound is the new "it" thing in popular music. Who better to dominate the new wave revival than the original founders of the movement? Fuck yeah!
