The Rentals

So they redid the entire therentals.com website, and I noticed theres a link to "forums and community" that doesn't take you here, and I get the feeling were about to be replaced or just forgotten.

Yeah the whole mess with give us your email, and we will eventually give you a song was kind of odd.

I would not be surprised.
They remade it into http://www.myspace.com/songsabouttime, I hope there not thinking about changing the bands name.

thanks guys, good to be back. i've been lurking the whole time making sure the place was safe.

things we know:
Lauren has been talked about and appears to be playing a larger role in the band now then before.  She is a classically trained musician and has tons of orchestra buddies. They are also working on film score type stuff.
Matt in the first film is dressed up as solo artist matt sharp and has his guitar case labeled "MS".
Jamie Blake is in her early 30's and does solo work as well as work in a group called Vixtrola. She has posted on her site since May that she is in the Rentals. She talks about how we are all multi-instrumentalist and that she may even have to play drums. I think dan might be gone.  Her music is very very different imo from Sara's work.  Should be interesting how she influencing the band. check her stuff out at:
