Here we go!!! Finished!

It was made with vinyl and pressed onto an American Apparel shirt (very vintage in feel)

i'm a very critical person, so bare with me. I didnt really like the color scheme very much. thought it was a bit hard to see. personally i would a picked a different picture than just matt, but props to ya for actually being active and doing something. they look pretty real and well done. i urge all to love these

I like the picture of Matt, but I personally would have had a white tshirt (since white and red is the ROTR logo) or a Seven More Minutes picture (since that green is kind of 7MMish). But I like it none the less.

for people who are interested, ryan conkright will be pressing these shirts for only the base cost of what is used to make each shirt (roughly 15.00)

as for the color/design incorporation...i agree black and red on white is perfect for this era of shirt...but the design was made on a whim. and is more of an artsy kind of thing than a "band" related image. Maybe a sihlouette design with missing pat and petra heads...or an image of spain with a very small 7MM logo beneath it--I'll take some time to work on more design ideas. Considering the price of shirt manufacturing/pressing on such a small run...one color shirts are key.

This was done so ryan and I could get an idea of what you peeps are into. However, a full blown out rentals/mr. sharp line of merchandise would probably a legal "no-no". So in respects to Matt Sharp this will be a very "down-low" thing and if anymore shirts are made for us boardies, it will be for a limited time only with a limited amount to be made more than likely.

My shirt was supposed to have red ink but i managed to get purple vinyl instead...And i know it's a tad hard to see, but it won't keep me from sleeping. It was a pretty DIY venture...I'm not too concerned with that though. I'm a big fan of american apparel and Ryan has a wide variety of available colors in shirts and image colors. Get in touch with him for anyone interested, he'll be posting in this thread shortly with more information!!!

Beautiful - congratulations. I may want one.

I understand how you have to make one to see how it actually looks without getting too much into the specific/best color scheme. But i have to say the white shirt with red vinyl to stay with the ROTR scheme (mentioned earlier) does sound better to me too.
American Appearel makes great "vintage" stuff. Have you considered using shirts with colored sleeve and collar trim that matches the color of the vinyl? thats a very "retro/in" look now as oppose to just a single colored shirt.

Also, i dont think you really have to worry about letigious people unless you are making money (a significant amount of it) from the shirt sales.
Plus i take it that the image of Matt was culled from the internet, which pretty much makes it public domain unless its used in a negative way that reflects on him.

He would be proud.
lets all get one and wear them to his concerts, we'll be known as the Rentals Superfans - or maybe just Superdorks cheesy

Anyone who is interested in a shirt, please email me at ryanconkright@yahoo.com. We have many different colors and styles of shirts. We have solid colors and we also carry ringer tees. I was telling "moog" that I highly recommend using a lighter color shirt with the image darker. His is an olive green with a maroon print so it's kinda hard to see but I still think it looks cool. We have black and red ringer tees that would look sweet with the image matching the ring color. "Moog" and I will be randomly posting different designs to choose from. Like he said, this will probably only be for a short period of time and Nobody is making money off of this. Just a little something for the die-hards. Who all is interested, send me an email.......
