The Rentals

Work is well under way for the conveted issue #3 of The Rentals Fanzine.  Don't email me just yet requesting this issue. That announcement will come shortly.  In the mean time we will be having a drawing for a very cool signed 7inch by Sara Radle's former band Lucy Loves Schroeder.  The drawing will occur Friday April 6th, but emails won't be excepted before 12pm Central Standard time(10am on the west coast, 11am mountain time, and 1pm on the east coast).  To enter send an email to joshbdork@hotmail.com  The drawing will start once again at 12pm Central Time.  If you have any questions on your specific timezone feel free to send an email or pm.  Also this contest is only open to folks who subscribed to fanzine #2.  Those people will also get a email reminding them of this info.  Here is the album Seven Inch Jellyfish, which seems to be quite rare.  More details to come so stay tuned.

Alright folks. The time is approaching. I wrote a little letter on the front on mattshap.net and here is some more info on issue #3 of the fanzine.

The adventures of Kyle, Matt, and the whole gang is a highlight of the fanzine. Follow the band as they tour across america, see a homeless man rapping for doughnuts, and play improvised versions of frisbee golf. Included are tour pictures taken by Kyle.  In the Ben Pringle interview we get a hint at the new record. Ben stated "you can expect a similar vibe to some of the old songs that we approached in new ways on this last tour". Further details are described within the fanzine, as well as a look into Ben's past, present, and eating habits. Tom Columbus stops in to give us unseen drawing for the comic and the inspiration that led him to create such a thing.

Cost will be between $2 and $3. You can now reserve your copy via email Contact me at joshbdork (at) hotmail.com or if you prefer to wait, the exact cost should be known within the next week or so. Following past traditions, there will be a special prize to be given out that to a lucky Fanzine subscriber and some Rentals nic-nacks might be present as well. Once they are sent, no more will be made available.

We've had a large response for the fanzines, so if you are awaiting an email for details please be patient. I should be responding to them all on Sunday. Fanzines will be $3. Thanks for the patience.
