Do/did The Rentals, in all lineups (1995, 1999, and beyond), perform any cover songs, those dating from the 1960's, '70's and '80's???

A possible list:

Welcome Ben!!

Okay off the top of my head, the Rentals did a cover of "We Have A Technical" by Gary Numan cover, they recorded it with Damon Albarn of Blur in 1996 and performed it in 1999 (and 2005? I can't remember). There's also a really really early cover of "She Look's At Me" by That Dog!. Lastly, they have recently performed "I Just Threw Out The Love Of My Dreams" by Weezer, which doesn't really count cause Matt played bass on the original and Rachel sang it. That's all I can think of at the moment.
Solo, Matt did a bunch of covers!

Yeah I think my favorite cover Matt did solo (with Goldenboy) was "She's Electric" by Oasis. Too bad no one recorded it that I know of.

They did "Walk on the Wild Side" by Lou Reed when I went to their Henry Fonda theater concert in LA last year.

I found this cover today. I was hoping to see if somebody knew something about it. I'm assuming this was done back when Maya was actually in the band, and not recently.

In 2004, she recorded a track with the Rentals frontman Matt Sharp, including a cover of Tegan and Sara's "Not Tonight."

per wikipedia

I do believe it came out around then. And considering the album it was on didn't come out until 2002 it would make sense.
