The Rentals have reached a new plateau!
On February 24th, the number of friends on The Rentals MySpace page reached 10,000!!!
We would like to take a just a moment to thank all of our friends and street team members who helped spread the word while surfing through the digital sea.
We have received many messages for the new group as well as numerous thoughtful notes
for various members of The Rentals earlier incarnations.
The messages have been creative, kind and sometimes very amusing. We do our best to pass on the encouragement and support directly to the band.
Back in the day, as The Special Goodness would say, the band could only receive these words of gratitude by "Land, Air, and Sea." The pony express would makes it's way westbound across our dusty plains eventually bringing these handwritten letters to their final destination, a mysterious place known as "The Data Lab."
Some of the most creative notes, letters, and envelopes where saved from those ye old days of yesteryear and can now be viewed in our fan gallery section.
