1. Call your local radio station and ask for the new Rentals EP.
2. Use the ad matte posted in the promo materials board to make posters and blanket your home turf!
3. Hit up message boards and blogs, let's create a buzz.
Please post here what you have done and what still needs to be done. This is a way for people to know what areas need to be hit up. Also, if you have an idea of any place that needs attention, but don't have the time, put it here and someone else will get to it.

I'm in LA for just a few more days but s soon as I get back I'll be printing, photocopying, and decking out downtown DC with these puppies! Anyone know a recipe for how to make that poster glue stuff that people use and apply with paintbrushes? Edit: Here's a link to a 6.9" x 10" flyer with the show infor on it. no problem =) I think I've changed my mind about the flyer... yeah, I did the same thing, I put the Baltimore and DC dates on the flyer, I live about 30 minutes from both, in Annapolis and have been putting flyers up around downtown Annapolis and all the record stores.

ok im not sure i can make the baltimore show
but i have been putting up stuff on bulletin boards at
the local community college where i am taking summer courses
and i plan on handing out a bunch of flyers with bus and metro directions on the back
on the move in days at the university of maryland
which are basically the day before and day of the show
though i wont be able to have pics of that last bit because it will be the day of the show and such
i cant wait for this show since i couldnt go last year
because i would have had no way of getting home that night

Mmmkay!! I've posted HEAPS!!! I actually printed and photocopied about 50 full color ones and posted them all over the Northern VA area (pics soon to come). Are you guest listing for both shows or just one? Please let me know, I'll have the pictures up super soon! PS:: I also created an e-flyer which I've been posting all over the interwebs and sending out on MySpace bulletins, Everyone PLEASE feel free to use it as well!  |
