The mission of the AMG is to provide continuing education to its members and educational formats to the public. The AMG also works to increase interaction among musicians, music industry professionals and other related businesses. It works to improve the economic well being of the acoustic musician, singer and songwriter by providing venues for the performance of acoustic music and through various types of promotion. The AMG works to promote interest in acoustic music and its preservation.
