I know someone who directed the video for "people of the sky" for sloan.
Thus...an excellent choice. Their new album is long and I like that.

DUDE, THE NEXT POST YOU MAKE IN THIS TOPIC BETTER BE A LIST!
Anyways, yeah Sloan, as a Canadian you are required by law to like them, if you are a hipster. Their new album is really good, I love all all the songs go into each other, all Sgt. Peppers style.

Josh, you forgot to put MEGAMOOG on your list, I'm telling on you.

That was really odd.  However, someone made a really funny comment: How the hell did one of my all time fave bands /songs / music vids end up associated with weed? - Is "friends of P" code for some really powerfull, extra sticky strain of Kush? - Ooo Woo Hoo Hoo indeed!

HOW did I miss this Sloan talk?
Some Canadian hipsters don't like Sloan though.. at least the newer stuff anyway, they stick to anything before and including One Chord to Another. I love all/most Sloan though. They're in my top 5.

I don't think I can make a top TWENTY list.. so here's 5:

1. Incubus
2. Supergrass
3. Sloan
4. Weezer
5. High Dials, The (this spot varies from time to time)
