because we moved all the non-sharp crap here from the sharp forum.  and there hasn't really been anything sharp related as of late.....so that, factored in with the heavy moderating is probably why this has more posts.....you can basically post anything you want here.

On-topic: Oh yeah look at the TSG board, haha  cheesy
Off-topic: Hey moogman2.0 I downloaded ancient melodies of the future but im not getting into it. Whats a good song from it? Like if there was a big 10 radio hit song from the album, what would it be?

strange, fly around my pretty little miss, or the weather.

but fuck that album. its good, but they've done much better

download all or any of the following songs

else
center of the universe
car
big dipper
Revolution
randy described eternity
stop the show
kicked it in the sun (best song ever)
now and then
cortez the killer (20 minute neil young cover from their live LP - hearing it live personally was the greatest 20 minutes of my life)

and "impossible" from doug martsch's 2002 solo album, Now You Know.

Have fun

that's good enough for me.....i rarely expect "better" on covers anyway.  i go into a cover looking for a "solid" version of the song, not a "better" version.

the first and last tracks from anchient melodies of the future are the only reasons to listen to it at all.

there's nothing wrong with love and keep it like a secret are two of the best albums ever made.  perfect from now on is a great one, too.
