Ozma broke up, I'm gonna go in my room and sulk now.

Thank God I saw them in June... this is such sad news, they were great and had such potential.

I don't think Ozma had any potentital left. With The Double Donkey Disc, I think Ozma reached their creative peak, and then started on their way downhill (Spending Time).

This is especially sad considering the fact that they are only in their early 20's  huh

What can I say? I thought it was cheesy...

I was sadder when Superdrag broke up last year.

seemed too much of poppy, for dumb chicks. Ozma is the poor mans Weezer. Coinsidentially (i know i spelt that wrong) Rooney is the poor mans Ozma.

in an interesting twist of fate, you also spelled 'spelt' wrong.

---
the weezer influence got talked about a lot, but isn't a prevalent thing on the records beyond distorted guitars and focus on vocal melody. similar approach to writing, but how that could be considered a bad thing, i will never know.

and current-weezer is the poor man's weezer.

unless the new album rips, which is possible... but the track record is not good.
