when I play shows...I jump around a fair amount. I don't like loosing my eyeglasses because I'm blind.

Someone tell me where I can get an elastic strap of sorts that's inconspicuous. I know Milo from the Descendents wore them a lot. This is so embarassing.

Take it from the old guy. . .
If you wanna be "retro" wear a pair of Croakies. I think that's what they're called. It's a band of wetsuit type material (rubber with a cloth outer: "neoprine"?)
The arms of your glasses slide into the Croakies sides and it wraps around the back of your head.
You can slide them all the way up to the hinges of your glasses for a tight fit.
I think they're from the early 80's. I have a pair and wore them on a ski trip 15 years ago and they looked pretty "old school" then as well. Mine are not for sale, but check ebay. 
I saw a pic of UberDork Matt wearing a pair too.

i actually know a couple of guys with glasses that ditch the
glasses when on stage. wouldn't work for me since i'm close
to blind without the glasses.

I know how you feel (about not having your glasses on), have you tried contancts? Seems like a simple solution to the problem.

Contacts aren't all that great anyway. They're way more time consuming than glasses. Glasses are cool nowadays so.. yay
